The following video clips were taken during Illinois Muzzle Loading Championship Trap matches at the KML range near Bloomington, IL.

Look closely at this sequence and you can see the process of ignition in Art Herman's double flint fowler. Viewing in order: 1 - Lock at full cock. 2 - Cock has fallen, striking the frizzen and driving it forward, but priming charge not yet lit. 3 - Priming charge lit, but main charge has not yet fired. 4 - Under recoil as main charge fires.
