Baile na Scolairi

Baile na Scolairi is a branch of the Middle Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism, an international group that studies and selectively recreates the Middle Ages. Founded October 28, 1985, Scolairi includes members from Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, and the greater McLean County area.

Meetings

Baile na Scolairi meets the first Monday of the month, 7:00pm, at Ned Kelly's in Bloomington. Arts and Science Meetings are usually held the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at the 1st United Methodist Church, Normal.

Heavy Armour practices and Rapier practices are held on an irregular basis Sundays, (rapier at noon, heavy starting at 1pm), at Fairview Park, Normal. Fighter School classes are held on occasional Mondays, 7pm, at Cat's Keep.  For details on armoured practice contact Baroness Aileen Fitzwilliam.  For details on rapier practice contact Baroness Julienne LaFollette.  Archery/Thrown weapons practice are held 9-11am, Maxwell Park, Normal.  For details contact Lord Simon Hondy.
