TSAC (Technology Support Advisory Consortium) is a campus technology
committee dedicated to desktop computer support issues and charged
with the implementation and maintenance of the Distributed
Computer Support Plan. TSAC also provides technical expertise
to Campus Technology Policy & Planning Council
and other committees on campus-wide technology initiatives and serves
as a resource for local support units on technical issues.
The Consortium is comprised of 15 members and meets monthly - 1
representative each for the 7 colleges, 1 for Student Affairs, 1 for
Finance & Planning/University Advancement, 1 for Academic Affairs,
1 for CTSG, 1 for Students, 1 for CISS, 1 for Telecommunications and Networking, and 1 Member at
Large elected from the support community.
Our web presence has been designed primarily to assist and inform
local support technicians in support of the Distributed Computer Support
Plan. We will maintain information here on & training events, support clusters,
contact information, useful documentation,
minutes and more.
