As an author and environmental activist, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has encouraged the advancement and development of several political and environmental issues.

He was named one of Time magazine’s “Heroes for the Planet” for his success in helping Riverkeeper lead the fight to restore the Hudson River. Kennedy holds the positions of chief prosecuting attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper and president of Waterkeeper Alliance. He has assisted several political campaigns, and worked on environmental issues across the Americas, including the New York City watershed agreement. In conjunction with Time’s honor, Kennedy is known as an international model in stakeholder consensus negotiations and sustainable development.

Kennedy’s published books have been New York Times bestsellers, and his articles have appeared in well-known newspapers, magazines, and journals. After graduating from Harvard University and the University of Virginia Law School, he studied environmental law at Pace University School of Law.
