The Mennonite College of Nursing, along with Illinois State University is proud to host Naomi Judd, Country Music superstar on November 8, 2007.

Currently in remission from active hepatitis, Naomi spends time at her farm, Peaceful Valley outside of Nashville with her husband, Larry Strickland. Her autobiography, Love can Build a Bridge, cracked the top ten on the New York Times best-seller list before becoming the basis for the critically-acclaimed NBC mini-series for which she served as co-executive producer.
She translates faith and values, medical knowledge, humor, common sense and belief in the mind-body spirit connection into a powerful and unforgettable message. Her speech gives Nursing students a real-life perspective to enhance upon their classroom studies, and gives audience members of all backgrounds a sense of hope and empowerment.
