Quizzes

I plan to have at least 10 daily quizzes in class during the course of the semester. Your best grades on 10 of these quizzes will count toward 10% of the course grade. The first quiz is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, and will be a map quiz. The terms and places you should know for this quiz are posted here. The other quizzes will be based on the readings. Most of them will be in the format of 10 multiple-choice questions. To help you prepare for the quizzes as well as the exams, I have posted lists of important terms from each chapter of the textbook to the Class Schedule page.
