beyond to complete the mission; knowledge, troubleshooting skill and communications
ability made him a valuable asset to this facility

Volunteered to to perform required maintenance on the Strategical Operations
Conferencing System; self taught, trained two airmen on the essential steps
of systems programming, performing periodic system backups, and troubleshooting
system and circuit outages; ensured system reliability of 98%

Researched and correlated data on Alternate Missile Warning Center (AMWC)
system and circuit configurations; used data to create concise step-by-step
system procedures; reduced system handover and circuit and system reconfiguration
times by 50%

Used extensive knowledge of the Ground Wave Emergency Network (GWEN) and
AMWC system configurations to train four newly assigned personnel; knowledge
gained enabled them to pass each phase test and increased their value to
this facility

Created database of Timeplex multiplexer circuits for 6 nodes; enabled
technicians to reload node with correct circuit configurations after a
major system failure of node 203; restored service in minimal time
